A booklet featuring poems by famous Japanese poets.
During the trip to Tokyo in 2010, the distinct character of each neighborhood left a lasting impression. This booklet features some of the neighborhoods that stood out, such as Shibuya's lively energy and iconic scramble crossing, Shimokitazawa's bohemian vibe, and Shinjuku's neon-lit streets that created a futuristic cityscape. These neighborhoods, along with others, including shapes that speak to Japan's tradition and quirkiness, made the trip a unique and unforgettable experience.

In the design of the small print booklet capturing the Tokyo trip, organic shapes were used to convey a sense of Japan's traditional and natural aesthetic. The shapes were incorporated into the layout of the booklet, often serving as a background element to the text. This helped to create a visual connection between the content and Japan's culture and natural environment.
The booklet successfully preserves the memories of the Tokyo trip while providing an engaging and artistic way to share the experience. By combining thoughtful design with vivid descriptions, the project offers readers a glimpse into the diverse character of Tokyo’s neighborhoods. It stands as both a personal keepsake and an artistic reflection of Tokyo’s unique blend of tradition and modernity.
