WCS25 is a conference advancing the Internet Computer ecosystem.
Design the visual identity for WCS25, the 4th anniversary of the Internet Computer, hosted by the DFINITY Foundation. The main focus was overall art direction, animation, colour and typography, alongside building a cohesive design system that could scale seamlessly across multiple touchpoints. The identity needed to feel alive and forward-thinking — something that could move, surprise, and resonate emotionally, capturing hearts while celebrating the future of ICP and the World Computer.

The identity was built from a playful and dynamic system of circles and squares, symbolizing the World Computer and blockchain. The visual approach was inspired by a generative code experiment by Takawo, which informed the rhythm and motion of the elements. To make the visuals practical for live use, the final animation was recreated in After Effects, allowing smoother integration across event screens and digital materials.
The identity and animations contributed to a highly successful event: WCS25 reached full capacity, reflecting the strong demand and engagement within the ICP community. The playful, dynamic look helped reinforce the summit’s mission and left a memorable impression on attendees, partners, and speakers alike.
